This 13inch  doll is made of paper Mache. The face is painted, with molded hair. He is marked on his back with a rounded triangle. Inside the triangle, appears to be ECCO. Under the triangle is the number 30.

The German Doll Encyclopedia 1800-1939 by Jurgen & Marianne Cieslik  page 64,65 & 351, attributes the letters ECCO inside a diamond  with the Eckstein& Co., Sonnenberg.

Coleman volumn 2, page 376, points out the factory did make "long limbed dolls"and they were made out of  Papier-mache dolls.
